Denton Gymnastics Academy (DGA) was founded by
Aurel and Rodica Lazar in 2007. As coaches, Aurel and
Rodica have enjoyed over 30 years of rewarding
experience working with international Elite gymnasts
all over the world, including the Romanian Junior and
Senior National Teams from 1986-1989.
The Lazars’ coaching philosophies are backed by their
personal experiences as world class gymnasts on the
Romanian National Team.
Rodica is currently enjoying her position as a
choreographer and International Brevet Judge, while
she and Aurel continue to share their extensive
knowledge, expertise, and work ethics in the
competitive training arena.
Today, Aurel and Rodica are dedicated to building
upon their success, imparting their knowledge, and
nurturing future gymnasts in their own progressive
and professional environment...a new training facility
they like to call...
